About Internship – The STEP programme was started in 2012 as a way of identifying high-potential Diploma candidates from across the country and grooming them to become world-class software developers. This is an Eighteen-month paid internship and training programme only for Polytechnic Diploma holders. All selected interns will be undergoing classroom sessions for 12 months followed by a project stint of around 6 months. Additionally, all the admitted interns are paid a stipend of ₹ 15,000/- per month for the first 12 months and ₹ 18,000/- per month for the remaining 6 months. Once they successfully complete the programme, they are absorbed within Thoughtworks at a guaranteed minimum compensation (CTC) of Rs. 8 Lakh per annum. Additionally, all the admitted interns are sponsored by the company for a three-year BCA course from a Government recognized University through distance education mode.
Qualification: Diploma any branch.
Skill set – Strong knowledge on Mathematics, Good understanding on data structure & Good communication skill.
